Choose how guests sign in
Your wedding website is for your guests, not the wider web. You pick how they prove they are invited, and every method is free on every plan.
- Passcode. Each guest gets a unique eight-character code, generated with a secure random source. We leave out easily confused characters like the letter O and the number zero, so codes are simple to read off an invitation. Share a code in an email, on stationery, or as part of a QR link that signs guests straight in.
- Name only. Guests type their first and last name and we match them against your list. Nicknames are matched too, so "Bob" still finds "Robert".
- Name plus email. For tighter access, guests enter their name, then a six-digit code we email them. The code expires after ten minutes and locks out after a few wrong attempts.
Keep it under wraps
New sites start in coming-soon mode, so you can share your address before the page is built. Guests who arrive early see a tidy, themed holding page with a short message you write, rather than a half-finished site.
When everything is ready, flip one switch and your site goes live. As the owner you always see the full site, so you can keep building behind the gate at any time.
Private by design
Guest details are never queried directly from a browser. Every sign-in runs through our servers, which means your list cannot be read by anyone poking at the page.
Passcode recovery, where a guest asks us to email their code, is entirely optional and off by default. When it is on, the recovery and sign-in steps always return the same neutral message, so nobody can use the form to test whether a particular name or email is on your list.
How we keep it private
