A link that stays current
Calendar Sync turns your wedding calendar into a live subscription URL. Add it once to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook or any app that reads a standard iCal feed, and your dates show up there.
The difference from a one-off file is that the link keeps polling. When you move a time or add an event in Build The Day, every subscriber's calendar picks up the change on its own. There is nothing to re-export and nothing to resend.
Calendar Sync is a one-off add-on (£12, also in The Day tier) that builds on the Calendar Planner. A plain file you can download once is built in; this is the live, self-updating version.
You stay in control of the link
The subscription link carries its own private token, so only people you share it with can see the calendar. If you ever want to cut access, revoke the link and it stops working straight away.
Access is also checked on every request, so the feed always reflects your current plan rather than a stale snapshot.
Reminders, two ways
Set lead times on an event, such as 15 minutes, an hour or a day before, and calendar apps fire their own native reminders straight from the feed.
On top of that, the email reminders add-on sends a reminder email before each event and task to you and your chosen editors, at the same lead times. It is a small separate add-on because sending email costs us money, and you choose exactly who receives each one.
